T
he ethos for all AB Sacs is to age naturally and develop patina. Exposure to the sun, your skins’ natural oils, water droplets, spills, light scratches are to be loved and embraced as your Sac ages representing your unique experiences!
However, here are some tips, tricks and home remedies to preserve the lifespan of your bag in different materials

Leather Care:
It's recommended to condition the leather, seasonally. Especially before and after storage. Olive oil or Leather Conditioner moisturize, with very little, barely noticeable tanning. Each skin is different. To know how it may react, I recommend testing a patch on the bottom, letting it absorb over night before applying to the whole bag.
Additional Care Notes: (from my experience, not brand endorsements, can't predict, not responsible for...) For conditioning, I have used:
-
Olive Oil - usually, not much color difference
-
Fiebing’s 4-1 Conditioner - may even out, lightly
-
Fiebing’s Saddle Soap - this I use on older, lived in, really marked up, splattered Natural Veggie Tan -it will even out the splats to a honey tone.
-
Lexor Leather Condition - usually, not much color difference
-
ALWAYS TEST THE BOTTOM overnight to know how the leather will respond!!!
Suede:
For preemptive care, we suggest Scotch guard and a suede brush (or eraser) to lift off most marks.
Canvas/Denim
As with our other canvas combinations, simply spot clean with a damp sponge. Additionally, you could spray the canvas with ScotchGuard as an extra precaution.
