Sac 1 in Vegan Black

Inspired by a bag that once belonged to my mother, the Sac 1 is a testament to timeless elegance and personal history. I reimagined its proportions, cutting it down and repositioning the pocket and straps. When the original sac became too weathered to wear, it found a new life as a beloved catchall for bills and mail. One day, while immersed in the mundane task of doing my taxes, a spark of nostalgia and necessity ignited within me. I realized I needed this bag in my life again. Thus, the Sac 1 was born.

After years of searching for viable (non-polyurethane) leather alternatives suitable for our sac construction, we’ve finally honed in on some promising sources. Last year we began testing and we are happy to launch our first foray into vegan leather with a Suite of Sacs made from @desserto.pelle cactus leather. The exterior is made of Vegan Cactus Leather and the interior lining is broken denim.

• This vegan cactus leather is USDA certified biobased and only the mature leaves of the native cactus plants are used without damaging the plant.
• The plants grow with rainwater,
• The ranch is fully organic with no use of herbicides or pesticides,
• Cactus is a natural carbon sink.

Please note: Our products are protected to not transfer color to other materials, however some accessories with poor color fixation could transfer to our materials, if this happens, immediately wipe the stain with shampoo and a white cotton cloth.

• You can also use a solution half water and half disinfectant. Preferably free of chlorine. Then rinse with water and dry.
• Use a solution using 0.5% hypochlorite of sodium in water, rinse with water and dry.
